This Cookie Policy explains how WrestleMatics uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on the public website, workspace, optional map views, guest cart and checkout redirects. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and alongside UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) where they apply to cookies and similar technologies.

Current position: WrestleMatics does not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. When configured and you accept measurement cookies, PostHog records limited product analytics and may use cookies or local storage for that purpose. If you refuse measurement, PostHog is not loaded. Strictly necessary technologies may be used for hosting, security, workspace sign-in, referral and ambassador attribution, and limited error monitoring. First-party attribution cookies may be set when you arrive via an entity referral or ambassador lane link. Google Maps loads only after you choose map view and accept the inline consent prompt. Fan checkout redirects to Shopify, where Shopify's own cookies may apply on Shopify's domain. Subscription checkout and Stripe Connect onboarding may use Stripe-hosted pages with Stripe's own cookies on Stripe's domain.

No advertising cookies or tracking pixels. When PostHog is configured and you accept measurement cookies, limited product analytics may run using cookies or local storage as needed. When Sentry is enabled, limited session replay runs on /app workspace routes only. Signed-in users may receive strictly necessary Clerk session cookies.
Hosting, security, authentication, first-party referral and ambassador attribution cookies, guest cart storage and embedded third-party services may process technical information needed to serve pages, remember cart items, keep sessions working, attribute approved sign-ups or prevent abuse.
Directory pages can store a local list/map view preference. Google Maps loads only after you choose map view and accept the inline consent prompt; that choice is remembered in browser local storage.
If we later persist analytics in a cookie or local storage, or add advertising pixels, we will update this policy and ask for consent where UK law requires it before those tools are used.
This Cookie Policy is issued by WRESTLEMATICS LTD, trading as WrestleMatics.
For personal information handling, see the Privacy Policy. For platform rules, see the Terms of Use.
Cookies are small files stored on a device by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, device identifiers and server-side logs.
Some technologies are necessary to provide a website securely. Others are optional and may be used for analytics, advertising, personalisation, embedded content or ecommerce.
In this policy, references to cookies include similar technologies unless the context makes clear otherwise.
WrestleMatics is currently an open beta for Talent profiles, Promoter pages, Event hubs, event discovery, account-based workspace access with public self-serve sign-up, limited UK fan merch checkout and contact links. Public listing pages are generated from approved public data and reviewed before publication.
Public pages do not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or social tracking pixels. When PostHog is configured and you accept measurement cookies, limited product analytics may run on public and workspace pages.
When you arrive via an entity referral link or ambassador lane invite link, WrestleMatics may set first-party httpOnly attribution cookies so an approved sign-up can be linked to the correct referrer or lane even if the query string is lost during Clerk sign-up. These cookies are operational, not used for advertising, and are described in section 8 below.
The guest cart may use browser local storage on wrestlematics.com to remember line items until checkout. When Sentry is enabled, session replay is limited to /app workspace routes for reliability monitoring. Signed-in workspace users may receive strictly necessary Clerk session cookies. Fan checkout redirects to Shopify, where Shopify's own cookies may apply. Subscription checkout and Stripe Connect flows may use Stripe-hosted pages with Stripe's own cookies.
Instagram-assisted Talent ownership confirmation, when enabled, uses server-side Meta webhooks and Graph fields for claim DMs sent to @wrestlematics. It does not set a Meta pixel or other social tracking pixel on wrestlematics.com.
If we later persist analytics in a cookie or local storage, or add advertising tools, we will update this policy and add any consent controls required by UK law before those tools are used.
These keep the website and workspace available, secure and functioning. They may include hosting, routing, Clerk session handling, first-party referral and ambassador attribution cookies, legal acceptance and welcome-flow cookies, abuse prevention, fraud prevention and basic security processing.
The Events directory page can use browser local storage to remember list or map view and, after you accept the inline map prompt, whether Google Maps may load. The guest cart may use local storage on wrestlematics.com to remember line items until checkout. CardBuilder may store unsaved event card drafts locally in the workspace. Signed-in workspace users may also receive Clerk session cookies needed to stay authenticated. Workspace UI dismiss cookies may remember that you closed an optional onboarding or merch prompt.
When error monitoring is enabled, session replay is limited to /app workspace routes and uses masking settings intended to reduce sensitive capture. A sample of sessions may be recorded and fuller replay may be captured when an error occurs there. This is used for reliability and debugging, not advertising.
When configured and you accept measurement cookies, PostHog records limited page views, selected product events and feature-flag decisions. It may set analytics cookies or use local storage for that purpose. It is not used for advertising or retargeting.
WrestleMatics does not currently run retargeting, ad-personalisation cookies or marketing pixels.
These services are relevant to the current open beta or expected workspace and commerce workflows. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply.
Used for website hosting and deployment. Hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps and error data.
Used for approved public listing data, workspace submissions and durable media storage. Some imported legacy media may still be served from its original hosted URL until it is moved to our primary media storage.
Used for workspace sign-in, organisation context and session handling. Clerk may set strictly necessary session cookies or similar technologies when a user signs in.
Used for client and server error monitoring when enabled. Errors may be reported across the site, but session replay is limited to /app workspace routes with masking settings intended to reduce sensitive capture. On workspace routes, an internal user identifier may be attached to help investigate signed-in issues. Email addresses and usernames are not sent to Sentry for identification.
Used for limited product analytics and feature flags when configured and measurement cookies are accepted. Events are sent to PostHog EU Cloud. Cookie and storage use follows your preference centre choice.
Used for private Event Media Locker video. The Mux player may set Mux cookies or similar technologies only after a signed-in locker playback. It does not load on public catalog pages.
Used for server-triggered transactional emails such as team review alerts, intake status updates, payout requirement notices and support reports. This does not set visitor cookies.
Used for optional map views on the Events directory page (`/events`) when you choose map view and accept the inline consent prompt. Google Maps may process technical information and use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's own service behaviour.
Used for fan merch checkout. When a visitor checks out, they are redirected to Shopify, which may set its own strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies on Shopify's domain according to Shopify's own service behaviour.
Used for subscription checkout, workspace bulk merch checkout and Stripe Connect seller onboarding. When you use those flows, Stripe-hosted pages or embeds may set their own cookies or similar technologies on Stripe's domain according to Stripe's own service behaviour.
Approved merch is produced through Printful, connected to the ecommerce flow. Printful processes order and fulfilment information under its own terms and privacy notices rather than setting cookies directly on wrestlematics.com.
Mailto links open the visitor's own email client. They do not set website cookies, but the email provider used by the visitor may process the message.
Workspace access uses Clerk accounts and WrestleMatics database records. Public self-serve sign-up is available during the open beta.
When you sign into the workspace, Clerk may set strictly necessary session cookies or similar technologies needed to keep you authenticated and to protect account access.
WrestleMatics may also set first-party cookies such as wm_legal_acceptance and wm_welcome_done to remember that you accepted the current policies or completed the welcome flow. Optional onboarding prompts may use short-lived dismiss cookies such as wm_post_intake_setup_dismiss or wm_starter_pack_dismiss. When site holding mode is enabled before launch, wm_holding_bypass may be set for authorised preview access. If you arrive through a Plus promo link, wm_plus_promo_code and wm_plus_promo_stamped_at may be set as first-party httpOnly cookies for up to 90 days so the promo can be applied at subscription checkout.
Workspace users may also be asked to accept the current Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before continuing.
The Events directory page (`/events`) can remember whether you chose list or map view in browser local storage on your device.
The guest cart uses browser local storage on wrestlematics.com (wm-guest-cart-v1) to remember line items until checkout or until you clear browser storage.
Google Maps loads only after you choose map view and accept the inline consent prompt. That choice is stored locally as wm-google-maps-consent so the map is not loaded without your approval.
In the workspace, CardBuilder may store unsaved event card segment drafts locally on your device until you publish, discard or clear browser storage.
If a visitor has a rights or listing concern, they can email support@wrestlematics.com instead.
WrestleMatics runs entity referral links and ambassador lane invite links during the open beta. If you visit with referralEntityId, ref or lane query parameters, or arrive through a sign-up redirect that contains those values, WrestleMatics may set first-party httpOnly cookies on wrestlematics.com.
The current attribution cookie names are wm_attr_referrer_entity_id (referring entity), wm_attr_lane (ambassador lane code) and wm_attr_src (attribution source type). They are set on a first-touch basis: an existing cookie is not overwritten by a later visit.
These cookies are kept for up to 90 days so attribution can survive the sign-up journey, welcome flow and policy acceptance steps where the original query string may be dropped. At welcome and intake submit, the values may be copied into your WrestleMatics user profile for referral Account Credit, ambassador programme records and fraud checks.
They are operational cookies used to run referral and ambassador programmes described in our Terms of Use. They are not used for advertising, behavioural profiling, retargeting or cross-site tracking.
When product analytics is enabled, WrestleMatics shows a sitewide cookie preference banner (powered by c15t). First-party operational cookies are described in this policy. PostHog loads only after you accept measurement cookies in that banner. A separate inline consent prompt is still used before Google Maps loads.
WrestleMatics may use Sentry for client and server error monitoring when the service is enabled.
Errors may be reported from public pages and the workspace. Session replay, when used, is limited to /app workspace routes and uses masking settings intended to reduce sensitive capture. A sample of workspace sessions may be recorded, and fuller replay may be sent when an error occurs in the workspace.
When you leave the workspace, replay stops so ordinary public browsing is not recorded. On workspace routes, we may attach an internal user identifier to help investigate signed-in issues. We do not send email addresses or usernames to Sentry for identification.
Server-side error monitoring does not use browser session replay.
When a visitor checks out from the WrestleMatics guest cart, they are redirected to Shopify for payment, order confirmation and fulfilment processing. WrestleMatics is the seller of record for fan merch sold through the WrestleMatics store.
Shopify may set its own strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies on Shopify's domain according to Shopify's own service behaviour, terms and privacy notice.
WrestleMatics does not control Shopify's cookie choices after you leave wrestlematics.com for checkout.
Subscription checkout, workspace bulk merch checkout and Stripe Connect seller onboarding may use Stripe-hosted pages or embedded Stripe components.
Stripe may set its own strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies on Stripe's domain according to Stripe's own service behaviour, terms and privacy notice.
WrestleMatics does not control Stripe's cookie choices on Stripe-hosted pages.
WrestleMatics provides a Report a problem widget on site pages other than the cart page, where it is hidden so checkout stays unobstructed. It does not set cookies or similar technologies on wrestlematics.com.
Information is sent to WrestleMatics only when you submit a report. See the Privacy Policy for what may be included.
WrestleMatics already offers a preference centre for measurement cookies. If we add advertising pixels or other marketing measurement tools that need further PECR consent, we will:
We do not currently use the following. They are examples of tools that would need your consent before introduction:
Depending on your browser, you may be able to:
Blocking some technologies may affect workspace sign-in, guest cart persistence, third-party content or map loading.
If we later persist analytics in a cookie or local storage, or add advertising or extra preference cookies, we will provide an appropriate consent mechanism where required by applicable law.
Where an inline consent prompt is used, such as for Google Maps, WrestleMatics aims to load the relevant tool only after you make that choice.
This Cookie Policy may be updated as WrestleMatics adds more features, such as broader workspace access, expanded merch workflows, seller payouts, subscription billing or analytics.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date shown near the top.
This Cookie Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.
